Delete Your Account

This page explains the public account deletion process for BanYoo Tutor. It is provided so users, including Google Play users and reviewers, have a clear way to request deletion of their account and associated personal data without needing to sign in first.

You can request account deletion in either of these ways: - In the app, if the Delete Account option is available in your profile or settings - By emailing banyoservicesorg@gmail.com from your registered email address

If you are contacting support by email, use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.

If you want to delete your account by email, follow these steps: - Send an email to banyoservicesorg@gmail.com - Use the subject line Account Deletion Request - Send the email from your registered email address whenever possible - Include the verification details listed below - State clearly that you want your BanYoo Tutor account permanently deleted

To help us verify the request and locate the correct account, include the following details: - Your registered email address - Your full name - Your account ID, if available - Your phone number registered with the account, if available - Your institution, coaching centre, or school name - Whether you are an Admin/Tutor or Student user - A short statement confirming that you want your BanYoo Tutor account permanently deleted

For security reasons, we may ask for additional information to verify that the deletion request is being made by the account owner or an authorised guardian where applicable. We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 3 business days and complete the deletion workflow within 7 business days after successful verification, unless a longer period is required for legal or technical reasons.

When an account deletion request is completed, we will delete or schedule deletion of the personal data associated with that account, which may include your profile information, login-linked identifiers, attendance and enrolment records linked to your account, uploaded documents and files, and in-app operational data associated with your role, subject to the retention limits described in our Privacy Policy.

Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security logging, backup recovery cycles, or enforcement of our terms. Where retention is required, the data is kept only for the minimum period reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Deleting your BanYoo Tutor account does not automatically issue a refund for an active subscription. If your subscription was purchased through Google Play, billing and cancellation are governed by Google Play Billing. You should separately cancel your subscription inside Google Play to prevent future renewal charges. Any remaining paid access may continue until the end of the current billing cycle, after which renewal should stop if the subscription has been cancelled in Google Play.

If the account belongs to a student under 18, the deletion request should be made by the registered user, the parent or legal guardian, or the institution representative with authority to act on that account. We may request reasonable verification before processing the deletion.
